New sites for Tutors

Delete Discussion My last posting about free advertising for tutors seemed popular so thought I'd mention two new sites I've come across this week. The first is called Beanbag learning (www.beanbaglearning.com) and you can advertise your services for free on here. It is quite a new site and covers the whole of the country. The team running it are very helpful so if you have any queries about your registration, just get in touch with them. Also, it's not just for tutors, students can go on to search for a tutor or to use the online links to other educational materials.
I have to say I was very impressed with the amount of information they have managed to pull together and it was very easy to search. The second site is called School of Everything (www.schoolofeverything.com). Again this one is not only for tutors, though you can register as a tutor to look for prospective students.
Students can look for tutors or other students with similar interests to their own. This site also has a section which allows you to specify something you would like to learn and will connect you to others who's interests are the same. Not all the tutors charge for their services here, so you may even find someone to help you learn for free !
Again, I think it's worth a look, as this one covers lots of interests that are not normally covered by similar sites. Hope you all find something of interest on one or both of them. |
